As printed newspapers are cumbersome and difficult to navigate, much of the effort was focused on the user interface - to create an uncluttered and easy to navigate tool to obtain the latest news, even when compared to online newspapers such as the New York Times.

~ About ~

A project in which the concept of the newspaper as a printed form of information was questioned. As newspapers have changed little in the past hundred years, a new form of information delivery that is more applicable to todays society was proposed. A wi-fi capable screen with multi-touch technology that allowed users to have up to the minute news and media.

Color Quote Short

Conceptually the piece supports the quote by applying so many colors as trimming in the ending sequence that the design becomes repulsive.

A short animation based off the quote "Colour is a creative element, not a trimming" by Piet Zwart in a book of quotes by famous graphic designers.
