The six page booklet was designed to push the proposed branding of the VEO name, color scheme & logo. It was printed vertically (5" wide by 9" tall spiral bound book) with the intent to stand out from traditional sized printed materials. Design and typography were used to present the idea of a bike sharing program as a hip and modern method of inner city travel; an understably cool 'single speed' feel that will appeal to 25-45 year old business men & women.

A design that uses a rotated grid, the colors gray and red & the font Helvetica (DOWN WITH ARIAL!) that reflects Brockman's quote. A successful use of a cool gray that still has a warmth and liveliness to it.

It permits a number of possible uses and each designer can look for a solution appropriate to his personal style. But one must learn how to use the grid; it is an art that requires practice".
